ABC's "Nightline" was doing interviews with Chris Biondo, Lenny Williams and Chuck Brown yesterday at Chris and Lenny's studio. (For the new Eva fans reading this, a quick rundown of the cast of characters: Chuck is the Washington-area go-go legend who recorded album THE OTHER SIDE with Eva Cassidy. Chris Biondo is Eva's producer, mentor and bassist; Lenny Williams is the keyboardist for the Eva Cassidy Band. Chris and Lenny now work together composing music for television documentaries.)
The "Nightline" story is tentatively scheduled for the end of May, I have heard unofficially. Hugh and Barbara Cassidy, Eva's parents, have enjoyed working with David Marash and his staff so far and think he will be doing a sensitive story.
